Aubrey and Mark had always had a rocky relationship.
Aubrey, 35, wrote a letter to share her real-life story, which sounds like something out of a movie. She said she feels positive about the situation now and finally feels free.
For 2 years, Aubrey had doubts about her husband, Mark, but couldn’t prove anything. When she finally discovered the truth, her life became more peaceful, even though what she found out was very painful.
Aubrey wrote, “Hi Bright Side! I want to tell you how my own body gave me the clue to figure out what my husband had been doing for the past 2 years. Mark and I have been married for 10 years. He was my first love. Mark has always been a difficult person, very secretive, but I loved him and trusted him completely.
“I never doubted him until recently, when Mark started acting strange. There were signs I couldn’t ignore. After knowing him for over 10 years, I could tell something was very different about him.”
Aubrey wrote, “I started thinking my husband had been cheating for the past 2 years, but I couldn’t prove it. He was hiding it so well.”
“One day, he came home from work, and I kissed him like always. But right after the kiss, I was shocked—I suddenly started throwing up. About 30 minutes later, I started sneezing a lot.”
“At first, I didn’t connect the kiss to my symptoms. But I didn’t have a serious illness. It turned out I was having an allergic reaction to my husband’s mistress.”

Aubrey said, “I was now sure Mark was cheating. I remembered a small bakery near his office and the beautiful woman who owned it. I had passed by it many times when visiting him at work and had seen her smiling and talking to customers.”
