Planning a wedding takes a lot of work, and a perfect wedding is almost impossible. Some people have it even worse. Family fights, bad weather, or unlucky accidents can ruin weddings, and some of these stories end up on social media.

The Story:

This happened around 2022. On the second day of the wedding in Tenerife, the bride went swimming in the ocean. She swam too far and was lost at sea for about 9 hours. She finally made it back, but she was in bad shape. Everyone was scared all day and thought she had drowned. When she got back, she wished she hadn’t.

Her husband had found her phone and read a lot of messages that were supposed to be from her aunt. But from the messages, it was clear it wasn’t her aunt; she had been having an affair with the best man for years. They got an annulment soon after. $60,000 wasted on one of the most extravagant weddings I’ve ever seen.
