Rosa and her husband Mark have been together for a very long time.
Rosa, who is 37 years old, shared her story with us. She wanted to express her feelings and get advice from others about her family situation, which has turned her life upside down.
Rosa started her letter by saying, “Hi Bright Side! I’m feeling totally hopeless about my family life right now, and I never thought something like this could happen to me.
My husband Mark and I have known each other for 15 years, and we’ve been married for 14 of those years. I always believed our marriage started because we truly loved each other. I was proud of our relationship, thinking we had a strong bond, mutual trust, and respect.
Our love story seemed special, and I thought our marriage would last forever. But I was so wrong.”
Rosa continues, “Mark and I first met at my dad’s funeral. I was heartbroken because my dad was my only parent (he raised me alone after my mom passed away when I was a little kid).
My dad and I were very close, and he made sure my life was like a fairy tale. He was a famous artist, and many people admired his work. He made a good living from his art, owned several galleries, and was well-known.
At the funeral, one of my dad’s close friends brought his son, Mark. That’s how I met my future husband.
After the funeral, Mark was very supportive. He helped me with everything during that tough time, and we became friends. I eventually fell in love with him.
We started dating after I began to recover from losing my dad. Two years after the funeral, we got married.”
Rosa wrote, “Our marriage started off very happy. Mark was a caring husband and a loving father. He always said we should have as many kids as possible because he couldn’t imagine family life without children.
I wanted kids too, but I planned to have just one so I could focus all my love and attention on them. Mark insisted on having three kids, and I agreed. But to my surprise, he lost interest in our children shortly after they were born.

You won’t have to pretend anymore, and you’ll finally be happy! No more work, no more burdens, no more misery for you. I’m so happy for you!’
I heard them talking about my dad’s will and a woman named Ann, who Mark loved and would finally be with openly. It was strange, and I felt that something bad was happening, something that would hurt me and my kids.”
Rosa explained, “I immediately thought about my dad’s will. The strange thing about it was that it was going to be revealed on our 15th wedding anniversary, and my father-in-law was in charge of it since he was my dad’s close friend.
